SAUNA ... ALSO FOR CHILDREN?

In Finland, parents take their children into the sauna even as babies, but we do not have this tradition.
It is therefore better to wait a while until your child can tell you when it gets too hot.
After all, babies do not have that ability.

CAUTION.

Moreover, children have more skin surface than body mass and thus warm up too fast, too hard.
Children should always be accompanied by an adult, to avoid accidents and it is better to take saunas with a lower temperature and only stay in the sauna for a short time (max 5 min.).

HEALTH EFFECTS.

Did you know that going to the sauna is good for children?
Like adults, it makes them healthier and more resistant to infections.
Nervous children will find better sleep.
Sleeping time is shortened and sleeping time is lengthened.
It also seems to reduce concentration problems.

THE SAUNA IS NOT A PLAYGROUND.

Obviously, children are supposed to be in the company of an adult during the entire sauna visit.
You should also ask yourself whether the sauna is an ideal environment for your child, they should also respect the peace and quiet of the spa, no playing in the pool, etc.
After all, one child is not the other….
